Mute Packaging Refresh

Rhinomed invited us to redesign the packaging of their range of Mute nasal breathing devices, a product designed to increase airflow through your nose during sleep by gently opening your airways.

The role of the redesign was:
– to explain how Mute works and who it’s right for
– assure buyers of the comfort, given it’s an intranasal device
– educate buyers about the adjustability of the product to support messages around comfort
– demonstrate how it used
– how to fit it and find the right size
– ensure the role of the Trial pack is explained
– encourage it as the first purchase for a new buyer

The new packs maintain the integrity of the brand, whilst enhancing its appeal. The feature of the window on the front of pack was removed as a die-cut as it lacked shelf standout, replaced by a retouched photograph to better showcase the device itself. Colour coding across the range was strengthened to differentiate the Trial pack and clearly represent the range of sizes. Back of pack was completely redesigned for ease of communication, whilst the inside booklet was also redesigned to ensure clear usage directions.
